Artist's Description

Lawson Tower was built in 1901 to obscure a steel water tower structure at the request of Mr Lawson's wife. One late summer afternoon in 1994, my wife and 4 year old daughter and I happened to be out for a stroll in Scituate, MA. We came upon the tower and while they played, I painted it on the spot.
